Thanks for reading, my name is Sergio Flores and I’m the Lead Consultant at SAFT.Industries, where I help entrepreneurs and business managers to execute their vision by enabling the technology to support it.
Today I’d like to invite you to join my first ever Solana programming course! As you might know, Solana is a very popular blockchain, due to its settlement speed, security and high programmability. It is also a bit challenging to start working on, because it has some unusual concepts and sometimes it’s difficult to find all the information and getting an idea of where to go next.
First of all, what can you do in Solana?
The most obvious and heavily promoted use case is financial applications; transfers and DeFi. But you can also use the chain to enable solutions in other areas. Let me show you a sample app I prepared:
NeuralBond - An encrypted on chain messaging system.
NeuralBond is an example of a small dapp that is not related to any finance service. It allows you to send messages to other people, and store them securely on chain with asymmetric encryption. It is also a good example of the kinds of things that you’ll be able to do after this course.
You can also see a bit of the code explanation in the following video:
Go ahead and review the app yourself:
The course
- 8 hrs total, LIVE ONLINE.
- Recorded for yourself and future generations.
- Max 6 students.
- Prerequisites: Pay the fee, don’t be a total programming newbie, show up.
- I’ll get creative and ask you to program something async, then
- We’ll review and discuss everybody’s work on the private discord server.
- The exact schedule (date/time/session duration) TBD with the participants.
- Topics: Solana concepts, Basic Rust, Wallet connection, Sending Tx, Anchor basics, Tokens and intro to native Solana programming.
Well, I think that’s a good primer on the topic. Do take a look at my other Solana blog posts, the links are at the bottom of the page.
The Fee
- $129 USD
- Pay via Paypal, Payonner, Direct deposit, Solana USDC
- Will send you the deets when you sign up.
